About Hilary
Hey, I’m Hilary!
I help moms create successful, positive beginnings for meal time in the early years of childhood.
I believe that children are capable of being adventurous eaters and can actually enjoy meal time with the family! I believe that we can raise children to have a positive relationship with food, and that it’s our job to provide that framework to make this happen. I believe that really any food can be a “kid food” and that there’s more to feed our children than chicken nuggets and mac & cheese (although don’t get me wrong, those taste good too 😉 ).
As a registered dietitian and avid cook, I’ve always been nose-deep in reading about how foods and proper nutrition nourish the body. In my career I’ve worked with adults and kids alike and I’ve seen what a poor diet can do to the body. I’ve seen what picky eating can do to food relationships when children reach teen years and adulthood. And I’m here to help you create or improve that food mindset from the very beginning.
I have been in your shoes, and still am walking in those shoes! As the mom of a toddler myself, I have seen the excitement of food in the first year turn into disinterest and distraction in the toddler years. I’ve seen fan favorites become dislikes, and I’ve had to navigate those waters. There is no perfect science here, but through my experience and my knowledge as a dietitian, I’ve found a way to still to this day, have a daughter who loves time at the table! I help other families find this same excitement on a daily basis!
I am confident that no matter where you are right now, you too, can find a way to raise the little eater who gets excited for meals and loves to try new foods. It can be done, whether you’ve mastered the solids introduction and just don’t know where to go next, or you feel like you failed the solids intro and need help moving forward. This is a big time for you, and you have my support!

TFA is geared toward children ages 1-3 (12 months-36 months) but many of the strategies will be very useful for older children of preschool age and beyond, as well. Parents can choose to enroll in TFA when their child is approaching the 1-year mark in preparation for the toddler years, (ex: 10 months) or can join part way through the toddler years! It’s all what makes sense for YOU. If you’re not sure, feel free to book a discovery call above and we can determine if it’s a good fit based on where you are.
-
Yes! While FFA is a great starting point, and in the course content I do reference some of the strategies I teach in FFA, this is not a requirement. I will meet you where you are, and you will still absolutely be able to grasp the concepts without having done FFA.
-
Yes! I do reference BLW concepts, but regardless of how you introduced solids, this will work for you. In fact, if you spoon fed purees, but are now looking for a more child-led, independent approach, this is a great place to learn that!

The online portion of the course is held in a very user-friendly platform. Once you enroll, you’ll receive instructions on how to access the portal.

FOREVER! You will have lifetime access to everything involved with the program, from the online course to the support calls. This includes any additional recordings and materials that are added or revised.

Hilary’s only ask is that you are motivated to make this happen. She does not chase after you to watch course content or take action, and can only support you if you are willing and motivated to put in the effort to make mealtimes more enjoyable for your family.
